Airless sprayers

In a new supplier this past week for a special mix on some hi build vynil

While in as I am about to upgrade my compressor I asked them to put a price together. But although they had conventional gear they recommended airless for the stuff I do ( gates n railings / general ironwork and repairs)

Any downsides to this system? seems very viable at present especially as I can take it to site for jobs and no periodic inspection of vessels

Good kit if you use the same colour a lot... pain to clean as you have the pump and hoses to sort out to change colour. ..

Yeah the guy went through that one and the need to swap filters

Only need to change filters if you are changing paint type or viscosity. ...varies with tip size....

If you only use the one paint and use a lot of it they are great.... beware though, you can get through a lot of paint very quickly but because of the higher viscosity you also cover quicker and thicker as you use don't need any additional thinners

The guy said you can add thinners some lots of hi build I have had were like treacle to be fair
I don't mind getting through paint fast if it ends up actually on the job rather than atomised
Speeding up the process and decrease in delivery scratches would be so cool at present

you can and sometimes might need or want to thin .... mine was bought to spray masonry paints.... but it will atomiser most , just need a big tip...

I would have another if it went pop.... no good for infrequent little jobs, but for regular use and regular work its perfect
