airless paint spraying for emulsion paints

Hello all, can you possibly provide me with some collective experience?

Are paint less paint sprayers any good?
I have a large basement and garage to paint abroad at my old house in Italy with water based emulsion paint.

Do i need to spend a load on a large system such as machine marts:

or would a smaller system suffice? like:

(the paint reservoir pot seems so small to me on these systems..)


Ive always assumed these systems are crap compared with traditional air fed paint spraying, but they seem to becoming more popular??? also i really dont want to have to take my large air compressor always there! thx all

I have just sold a large professional Wagner airless spray machine that I got to white emulsion the inside of my barn (now metalworkshop) and woodwork shed. I did the whole lot including a roof (which had had spray foam insulation installed) - two coats took less than a day and we are speaking of about a 4000 sq foot of building. Mine had a 1/2 metre long wand with an angleable head and it made the job a breeze.
