very nice having a permanent airline round garage saves pipes all over. i wish i could be bothered but i cant so its large rubber hose

Its one of those jobs you really have to do BEFORE you move in to a workshop. Afterwards its just tedious routing the pipe.

This is something I'm thinking about doing. One thing I don't like so much are the PCL connectors, I prefer something a bit more positive, is there are better connector to use that is as ubiquitous? I have a box of various fittings, some with bayonets, but I have no idea if any are used widely. These are the ones a I use but don't particularly like.

Euro fittings, you have to press the coupling tighter to pull back the sleeve and disconnect.

Sorry to hijack the thread again But it is related. I was thinking of using 22mm copper ( I have a few lengths hanging around) as the main, having 22/15/22 unequal tees to feed tools (Yorkshire fittings of course )with 15mm to 1/4" BSP adaptors hanging off to accept the Euro connectors.

Is there a simpler way?

Dont waste money on Yorkshire fitting, need soldering anyway. I'm at the same point just fitted the 22mm taps and now weighing up the best way to connect to the air supply.

i use 3 types of fittings and size hoses 3/4 . down over. c type euro and plc

I've got a load of Yorkshire, end-feed fittings and compression fittings that I'm trying to use up. Its amazing how they accumulate after renovating 3 houses and building a brewery. Before I had decent workshop I had fittings stashed everywhere and was always ordering some then finding just what I needed the next day. Then my dad dumped a load more fitting my way.....

I'm trying to work out if I can run an air fed mask and spray gun on the same compressor, not so much from a capacity perspective, I think I have that nailed, but in terms of ducting clean air to it that is not contaminated with paint. That is easy if I'm spraying upstairs but I only do small stuff up there. If I have something like a tractor wing to do then its downstairs in the barn and that's were the compressor lives. I may be able to duct it from outside. Anyway, hijack over

I had a load of pipe cheap and i do need good flow as i will soon be over 100cfm fad,
I have loads of pipe left over actually, But your a bit far away.

yeh miles away and copper would be easier for me + I have plenty of fittings left over from doing the house up
