I got mine about 30 years ago in our local Madhouse - kind of a precursor to Poundland.

It’s branded Han-DIY-Man.

I don’t know if Madhouse was regional (I’m in Kent) or national. It’s definitely where I bought mine. I got this, a few small G-clamps and a set-square with Chinese symbols on it, all of which I still have and use regularly.

Paul summed it up perfectly, they sold all kinds of tat. I remember buying countless checked lumberjack-type shirts in there too.
