Ive recently aquired a aga r302 tig welder from a liquidation sale and i plan to sell on . I need to know weather the unit will weld aliminium as people keep asking me this . The unit seems to work fine it powers up and makes an arc when the button on the torch is pressed . Ive only ever used mig welders and arc welders before so any infomation on what it will weld and how to set it up would be most greatfull . Thanks richie

In order to weld aluminium well it will need to be an AC/DC machine (AC required for aluminium). There will be an obvious switch on the unit if this feature is available - I am not familiar with that name.
