After market Hypertherm consumables

I have had my Hypertherm powermax 45 quite a while now and always been amazed at the performance. Only ever used genuine electrodes/nozzles and they do last a long time, I don't mind paying their prices. Just wondered if anybody had used aftermarket consumables and if so how did you rate them?

We used Plasmaparts consumables for a while on ours. Can't remember exact machine model but it clean cuts 40mm so fairly big.
They were ok, but last around 1/3rd of the time genuine Hypertherm parts do.

Getting the air as dry as you can makes the consumables last so much longer too, we have 3 industrial driers in series.

I use the Thermacut copies on mine, not had much chance to use them as of yet but they're about half the price of the genuine ones

Thanks for the replies chaps, My air doesn't seem too bad, just have the built in one and an Aldi cheapy but the seem to do the trick for the amount of cutting that i do. Saw a place called torch parts, but will check out Thermacut and maybe give them a try.

I go through a LOT of nozzles and electrodes using my CNC..some of my 'sculptures' have 50 or 60 piercings which doesn't help much!! I've been using some alternatives on my powermax 30 and they seem to cut as well, and last as long, as genuine and are around half the price...I got them originally off ebay but now deal direct and get a little discount....pm me if any interest. I also looked into buying directly from China but you have to buy too many..may be worth it if a few were interested though.
