The Mrs ordered some furniture on the internet back in January, The style she wanted is something I could of done, but as always im time poor so she went ahead and oredered some off a couple of firms that looked like they did a half sensible job, The first turned up a month or so ago, a lad on his own and IMHO made a fairly nice job.......... Then on Friday this lot of Garbage rolled up, This is just some of the low lights.

Nothing debured straight out the saw razor sharp, compounded by the fact they havent even bothered with a wax so the whole lot will flash over with rust as soon as it sees damp.
Nothing fitted properly, whole lot had linsead oil thrown at it whilst still covered in dust, and after it was put in the metal.
Backs are all viable and only held on by a handful of screws so there all gaped.
everything filthy and covered in poxy oil.
Nothing is treated underside and has more pitch than a cricket field.
Ends of the timber havent seen a sander and left for the oil to just run its way in.
Paint Id marks from the stockholder even left in place.
My favorite zinc washers with poxy screws instead of CSK on everything not even centered, or evenly spaced.
Screws used too long that poke through the side.

Legs (multiple) are 10mm out of square on a 400mm run,

Thats without things like the doors not closing, the draws not being finished or on runners...... the list is endless..

Iv shoved it in the corner and told them to come and get it, they want to send an "Engineer" out to fix the problems Not happeng strangly.......

Id just like to know im not being picky and it is as bad as I think??????

Strangely enough yes, However the stuff there posting all over the website and facebook is not quite as "Rustic" as that pile of garbage. I have workbenches built with more pride...... Alwarm bells should of rang when the delivery driver said he was leaving the firm because of all the hassle from the customers

start with danger to life sharp edges wood not finshed leaving splinters and sharp screws pointing out of wood give them a chance to sort by replacing (you need them to give them a chance it then go to your credit card

Reject it as being of 'Unsatisfactory Quality' (Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Report the vendor to Trading Standards.

I take more care than that on stuff that is going to live in the garage, as others have said give it back to them.

It's all the little things that take time to be done right, and finished off nicely. Clearly that lot was chucked together by people who didn't care.
The metal can be refinished easily, the out of squareness and the poor fitting wood - not so easily.
I'd be rejecting the lot for a full refund if possible.

I always pay with CC just for the S75, although I think they could try and wriggle on the bespoke etc, and it being the style they haven't even fitted doors that stay shut, It is also a million miles away from what there advertising . I do not believe they really have a leg to stand on.

The trouble with replace is A they produced that and have the QC to send it out like that and B it took them 5 months to come up with that.....

2 hours with a flap sisc with the whole lot stripped and the metal work would look 100% better, but the cabinets IMHO are firewood you could never make them look half decent in a million years.

I can smell Min wage monkeys and owner who doesnt give a stuff a mile off.

I should have gone with my gut and just made the stuff myself.

Some people just churn out rubbish as in general people wont complain. Winchwoman bought a dining room suite online as the show room was miles away, I could be here for hours but in the end they admitted it wasn't much good and gave it us for free.
Your stuff is just dangerous, I hope you paid by credit card?
