After an aerosol stonechip with a lot of texture, suggestions?

I'm trying to blend my sill repair into the original 2k factory stonechip, which is about 2mm thick and has quite a pronounced texture.
I'm getting there on the thickness by slowly building up some hammerite stone shield (grabbed it whilst I was out and about, couldn't be arsed to wait for ordering something better over the 'net, should have waited...)layer by layer, but it's actually quite a smooth texture and looks completely different to the original paint.

Anyway, I seem to remember the gravigard aerosol stuff had a rougher texture last time I used it, but I was just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions?

Has to be aerosol I'm afraid, no spraying gear here and if I fetched it I'm not sure the neighbours would like to breath 2K anyway

Sprayed texture is dependent on distance sprayed from the panel. Gravi do aerosols but to my knowledge, most hammerite products are synthetic and therefor would reject your Stonechip.

never seen a really coarse stonechip in a rattle can to be honest

cant you ask around and see if a local member has a compressor and will let you use a proper stonechip gun for 10 mins ...would go on as coarse as you like (lower pressure /further away makes it coarse)

I've got a compressor, might have to buy a proper gun for it, just aerosols were easier, it's not a show car by any stretch, just trying to blend enough that it doesn't annoy me

in that case yeah get a gun theyre cheap on ebay and will come in handy

I find upol gravi tex is very good and can give a good texture also seems to cover well, some stonechip I have used has been higher in solvent and can craze when covering some paints,

I would use Gravitex and the proper gun, they are cheap on ebay.
I just done this with Gravitex, great stuff to use
