I used to have a number of CV's that I used to create new ones for other people by replacing the data and names etc but I cant for the life of me find where I stored them now I need them for myself..

My lad was forced out of work due to corrut manager who has since been sacked but the place he went to lied about what they would be paying him.

So he needs to look around for a new job and I would like to help as he has not really needed a CV up until now.

I would be grateful for anyone who has a CV they can cut their own data from and let me use as a template.

He is looking for a driving job but will do anything that actually pays the minimum wage or above.

I also had loads but since retiring have lost them, I have done a couple since using the free templates, googling will provide loads to choose from.

Can't remember the exact site I used but it was very easy and a professional CV was the result.

If you have emailed any of the ones you recreated for other people then you should be able to find one of those emails and open it and retrieve the CV maybe ?

If it's a while since you used them, bin them anyway the format will look dated, create a new one just be factual and stick to 2 pages ideally, essays tend not to be read

So that's any job. To pay someone under the min wage is illegal. Most driving jobs now require cpc if lgv or psv. Has he got that? Or will it be white van deliveries. Nowt wrong with that done that plenty of times myself but rules are getting stricter unfortunately. Just accentuate the positives. The cv is the foot in the door. The interview gets you the job

Yes mate I have office 2010 but I can access other computers with a higher version on if needed..

Yes he has LGV 2 plus trailer, CPC Hi Ab, Digital Tacho. He does not mind the job but has now found out why they have a turn over of drivers nearly as many as Morrisons have customers. He works 14 hours a day and often works through his break if not on Tacho. He works from 4.30pm till 4am then two days off and then 6.30am till 6pm and then 2 days off on a rolling rota tht includes nights and weekends but no overtime rate for nights or weekends.

He gets paid £9 per hour with a £1 per hour bonus for keeping good records and cleaning the trucks when needed. But that bonus needs to keep a £450 accident fund topped up. Having been just charged £360 by their preferred repairer to respray a wing he got no bonus as they took all that off his this month.

We had heard this after he got the job there about them not paying the bonus for any reason they can. BUT it was a competitor who said it so took it with a pinch of salt.

Driving - Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Iceland are usually looking for drivers (no wonder...when I worked for Tesco the job was good...the management...not so much...when it went right...it was the dept working well due to their skill, when it went wrong...it was your fault alone...hence I quit and went backpacking....)

Does backpacking pay better than Tesco ? When I last had a job there was none of the CV stuff you turned up at the foundry or factory and asked if they were setting on.

Ask your local steel suppliers, round my way the is IMS, IS&G, AALCO, Parker steel all have drivers of vans, Lorries, hiabs etc.

Jewsons (and other builders merchants) are another option, possibly also Cemex (and other concrete suppliers)
Ambulance service / Fire service could be worth a look (though fireservice has pretty demanding fitness tests...)

He just left jewsons. Lol long story but his manager was ginally sacked 2 weeks ago.

Fire service no hope. All recruitment is suspended and our local brigade has loaned some firefighters out but having then back to make them redundant.

He has a bi-cupid valve so no services will take him....

Don't think there's anything quite right at the moment, but it's worth watching, STW has some very easy and well paid jobs, look for a Waste Water operator/technician, it's such an easy job, it's quite well paid starting at £18K basic, but there's a lot of standby/overtime that very quickly lifts it to £25k maybe even £35k.
There's often jobs going on there and I know there's a site at Kidderminster, intact I know the manager there, you've also got bases at Worcester and Redditch so there's plenty of options in the area. I know they've not long sacked someone from the Redditch team so that might get recruited fairly soon.
