Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I'm completely new to welding so need some basic advice. I'm a more than competent carpenter but the wife would like me to create separate cage space in her van she uses for her dog walking business. She has seen loads of examples but I have convinced her that if I buy a welder I can do it for her (nothing to do with I want a welder!! )
So my goal will be to weld stainless steel square tubing, I believe it's around 1-2mm thick, I'm not overly fussed on how the welds look just as long as they do the job.
Happy to trial and error while I get use to welding but feel its time for me to weld!!
Budget will be upto £300 to start, if it's unrealistic then I'm prepared to go higher. Based in London if anything being sold that's suitable.
Thanks in advance
Daz
