Advice on Mig welder

Hey guys,
Im thinking of buying a second hand Wolfweld 150 welder and gas from ebay. As I am a newbie to welding im not quite sure whether to get it, Does anyone know if its worth it? It'll will only be used for hobbies, nothing major.
Any advice will be appriciated.

All I can say is I owned a Wolf welder and it looked great, shame it never welded, they are judged as a very poor welder by most people who have used them.

I also suspect the bottle is not his to sell, they are usually hired.

Before you shell out you might want to do a forum search for Wolf.
Not particularly good reading I'm afraid.

Hi guys,
After some use of the search button, i found that as you guys adviced, it doesnt seem too good of a welder. I'm looking to spend around the 300 mark. It would need to have a cylinder (not the disposable type). What would you guys recommend ?

see if your local pub landlord will sort you out with a co2 bottle then go for a clarke most people on here seem very happy with them

These seam the cheapest for clarke migs. You can get yourself a volkszone bottle and reg and a decent mask and other ppe for well under your budget.

theres a CLARKE 160 tM in the used equipment for sale section, should suit you fine

if youre happy with a sh one you might bet a portamig for that money whcih is a semi professional sort of machine and will always be worth a bit if you decide to sell
