Seasons Greetings to one and all.
I've been visiting this site for a while and found it very interesting.
My low buck project is a VW beetle that I'm turning into a roaster pickup and I need to replace my clapped out old Clarke !00E. I'm just looking for a welder for bodywork and hoping to spend no more than £200.
I've read recommendations for the Clarke Pro 90 but have just seen an Ad for a SIP 25033 Trade Weldmate T150P (£229.89 inc vat) which will also go down to 25amp.
I know that people have reservations about SIP budget range but wondered if the Trademate would be any better and worth spending a bit more?
Thanks for your feedback.
