Morning all iv got an evo 5 with a stainless steel exhaust system and the other week I got fines £50 for the exhaust being to loud (99db)
I am looking at welding in myself a silencer box into the middle of the exhaust to quietened it down but I'm just after a little advice on techniques on how to weld it in successfully.
My welder is a sip t150p
When it comes to welding in the box would it be best use a spot weld kind of technique or do a constant weld of say 1" long then move onto a different area to keep the heat down?
Thanks
