! Advice ! Clear coat

Hi all, i need alittle advice on clearcoat (lacquer) that ive laid yesterday on my motorcycle frame ,ive painted the frame with a satin black base and then i put over top a clear coat with matte agent to dull the gloss finish, its come out just how i wanted it but i do have a few small areas what look like it could do with a buff .The areas i refer to feel abit like over spray which is taking away the smooth finish ive got on the main areas of the frame ...What do i use without creating a glossy shine to cut back these areas were the lacquer has oversprayed ..(cutting compund,2500 wet&dry,etc ?? ) also how do i have to leave the paint before applying anything ? about 1 week ?thanks guy's

we normaly bake cars, pannels, bike parts for about an hour then leave until following morning to de-nib and polish.

try wet flatening on an inconspicuous area if the paper drags the clear coat aint set through,

a little soap on your paper will help.

You could try somne Vehicle Detailer's clay bar [with suitable lube], it is sometimes used for removing overspray.

That's the problem with satin paint. You can't flat and polish it to remove imperfections

id sand it with 1200 and re clear it
