One of the problems with cheapy grinders, is vibration and shafts that dont quite run true!
Try a pro machine with a quality disc, then try a £10 machine with a silverline disc!!

With regards to the blue bosch Malcolm, register the new one online and get the extended warranty.

Nice one - thanks. I've noticed 3 year warranties knocking about. I'll definately read the literature that comes with the new one that should have arrived today and sign up.

Though I'll still be stuck for a week while they replace the thing. It's amazing how much I miss a grinder whan I don't have one.
