One for the hive mind.
Had a new cushioned vinyl floor fitted and then accidentally dug a scallop out of it
it's only about 10mm square but in an obvious place so stands out. I want to glue the chip back in, but as this is going to be a "one shot" job I want to make sure I use the right adhesive for the job first time.
Google throws up various options such as Vinyl repair or contact adhesive but I don't want to use a product that will melt the floor so over to the collective for suggestions, cheers.

but you have given me an idea, pull the washing machine out and test on the vinyl under it
