I'm planning on building an acoustic box to house my compressors which is going to double as a workbench. I had planned on making a basic frame out of 4x2 then use infill panels from ply sandwiched around some acoustic insulation

seems to be mixed reviews and it's not exactly cheap, any thoughts?
Also planned on adding a couple of filtered air vents and mount an extractor fan in the loft and running some ducting to the top of the box to draw the hot air out. Basically placing the vents just below the motors to cool air is draw over them. Replace the wheels for rubber mounts and line the floor with some rubber mating I have to hand.
Any input or experience is most welcome, want to get it right and not overheat the motors.
