hi where's the best place to buy acetate sheet .16mm thick 12 inch by 16 inch for a blast cabinet protective screen. thanks
Now more commonly known as transparency. Try an office stationery supplier. Cheapest option is to go for standard size and cut down so it will be A3 for your requirements (297×420mm).
its 0 .6 MM thin stuff throwaway film for blasting cabinet a3 size

no your correct I put .16mm that looked like a comma and should have put 0.16mmMust admit, I read it the same as ZZR'.Obviously plenty of aging farts with bad eyesight on here.

I've been looking at straight-sided plastic pop bottles as a source of throwaway vision port guards, for when I build a blasting cab of some sort.
I've no problem getting polycarb sheeting, quite cheaply, but if and when it inevitably gets wrecked, it would be easier to have a PET bottle sheet to rip off and chuck.
my large cabinet I just use glass . it lasts ages and I just replace it . the small machine mart cab for beadblasting has a flimsy lid and a plastic screen with protector sheet on so cant use glass on it
