Acdc tig suggestions

Im in the market for an acdc tig welder for aluminium and steel.

looking around i either see really cheap options (hitbox etc) or r-tech/jasic/parweld at the 1100£ mark for the cheapest models (160amp).

Will only get light use so spendin close to 1500 with gas wtc is a bit excessive for me. Are there no mid price options?

I dont want to gamble with a hitbox, im coming round to the fact that ill have to pay up But wanted to check the knowledge here.

I picked up this wheel barrow 3ph ac/dc tig over ten years ago, for less than £500 second hand, it will probably last forever, doesn't have all the modern bells and whistles admittedly.

Didn't come with any guarantee or warranty, but still going strong.

Try looking second hand, I'm a great believer in transformer based machines, as in my experience, they don't go wrong, but yes, stupidly heavy.
