This is on an AEI single phase 1/3 hp motor with a single capacitor and centrifugal switch.
Seems like the capacitor is connected on the neutral side of the start winding to the blue motor lead (T2 to A1). That's been done I think given the layout of the connector board where its difficult to connect it to the hot yellow side on the centrifugal switch without accessing the rear of the connector board. So is this a problem?
(Motor does run well but cap needs changing anyway as all it's leads are embrittled and flaking)....
