A very Halfords Christmas to me :-)

I'm terrible at receiving gifts or cards and much prefer people to buy and donate to food banks and pop me a pic....I'm a housing officer and see the sharp end of reforms :-(
So nothing but pics this year.....and £50 from my company so with trade card and cash in hand of to Halfords I popped...
Reduced to £165, then to £135 (mmm trade card) and knock of the £50 and all I paid was £80

Very chuffed that it's all worked out this year

If all that black Halfords kit is up to the original chrome Professional quality you have a bargain. Add longer 3/8" & 1/2" breaker bars and you can tackle a fair amount of work with that kit.

Work gave us all £50 Amazon vouchers so I decided to order a few bits. Would rather have had the cash as everything could be had cheaper elsewhere and I find their website a chore to navigate.

The black ones are far more common now, they originally appeared as a one-off which made honouring the warranty a right pain in the posterior. We used to end up giving people chrome stuff off the shelf and ordering in the replacements which took forever to turn up so people who managed to break something from a black set were effectively getting two for one replacements.

only thing i have found is they dont contain a 1/4 drive long reach ten mm socket, disapointing as thats most commonly used.
