I can't advertise this for sale as it belongs to a retired engineer who is not able to access the internet. However could somebody please give me/him some idea of it's value . Much appreciated .

That's a Burgmaster turret drill.

As for value, it's hard to say, probably less than you're hoping for. There's one on US eBay at the moment, listed as spares or repair for two thousand dollars, but one in the UK is on there in working order for three hundred, with no bids, I doubt either will sell.
