A shipping question

My friend is moving home and has some larger pieces that won’t fit in her car. One of these is a risograph machine which is like an old school printer that only does four colours. It’d fit nicely on a pallet and I could crate it easily, but I’m wondering if boxing it up might be better? I would wrap it in cling film if I sent it anyway to save moisture damage, it’s a plastic box with a glass plate (like a photocopier).

If it is fragile, might be best to just pad it with bubblewrap and palletwrap it.
If you make a nice square crate for it, then somebody might put another pallet on the top.

The way to avoid stacking is either to buy a non stack cone from a packaging company or just stick a small shoebox vertical on the top of the pallet

Use a full size 120x100 pallet.
Strap it down. If on wheels put a sheet of ply or something on the pallet to stop the wheels going through.
Shrinkwrap to keep moisture off.
If delicate place padding under the machine to absorb bumps. Lorries don't ride like a Jag
