What happened to Vestas in Campbeltown on that sticking out bit of Scotland.......I know it was all a bit messy....I think the name changed to Celtic Wind or something (could be mis-interpreted)

and arent Siemens building something on the Humber

Vestas took the grants, barely built anything and did a runner, although in their defence the governmmt promised orders and a ferry link but the ferry never materialised and the orders were too little too late. The plant's still there but it only makes masts these days.

I was in Belfast late last year and I was reading H and W mainly repair oil rigs now but do make a few turbine bits and pieces.

liberty steel [group] have bought the plant & machinery from maybey & will announce where in s.wales they will start making turbine masts in july.
