Hi all as some may know my swp digi mig decided to have a bit of a flaky the other day and not play ball. After 3 years owning it I think it should just come in under warranty for repair. But I'm rather unhappy the wire feed motor bit the dust after less than 1/3 of a spool of wire. The question now remains is this, last time I needed a part (a different size wire roller) it took about 4 month of faffing for swp to get the right one it to HIS my local supplier no fault of there's. This in my opinion failing in a rather simple task and the fact that soon after HIS stopped stocking thier machines as they fell out with them because they couldn’t supply anything in a timely manner even new machines etc. Has anyone had any experience with swps after sales and repairs support. I get the feeling I may be in for an incredibly long wait which is no real good for me and rather annoying. Thankfully the guys at HIS are incredibly helpful and willing to do what ever they can so hopefully it will be back soon.
