It's no wonder we struggle finding stuff here in the UK. Just seen this post of a lorry load of anvils. This chap is buying all of em.

I don’t think he’s greedy at all.
It’s smart. If he’s had the chance and cash to buy them all cheap in a bulk job lot and got the time to move them all on for a good profit as individual items I say fair play to him. I’ve done it before.
Bought a big lot in bulk cheap and quadrupled my money selling individually.

I bought a garage full of electrical stuff for a grand ended up with 4 grand profit . if I ever see stuff at stupid prices I buy it and sell it on or hoard it then it goes

Agreed , if I see something I like, and it's a great price, then I buy a load of them,then I look to at least sell the others so I get mine for free. Anything else is a bonus

Good luck to him, it's simple business, I must admit I always find it amusing that people expect to buy stuff cheap. It's simple supply and demand, if you had something to sell that you knew everyone wanted why on earth would you sell it cheap?

Absolutely.
If they were cheap enough to be risk free and were offered my way I’d of taken them all.
Cleaned them up and sold them on at prices to get them out quickly but make a tidy profit on.
No one is giving money away so opportunities are there to be seized and made the most of.
