A few bit's i made.

Hey all..Just thought i would post some pics of bit's and bob's i am putting together..all comment's welcome but be easy I am not very long welding..
A 6x4 car trailer..

Two bike's and a frog i am working on.

All the pieces have to be cleaned up a bit,and i am thinking a different colour.opinion's welcome.

Nice work. The only thing I would question is the size of the level platform at the top of the ramps. It looks like it could have been a little larger. I think what you do need to add it something to stop you going straight over the end. Ramps usually have a barrier of some sorts. An inverted U welded to the end a coming 75mm above the platform would do nicely. It would also give you 3 supporting legs.

Nothing to be ashamed of there. I agree with Andy a stop on the ramps and two extra legs. If you get the vehicle slightly off-center the platform could fold and get shot out the side. I would be tempted to take a length of 1.5" angle, cut two vees in it and bend to form a square 'U' and weld that to make a stop and legs combined.

Love the trailer and the wood grain on the panelling.

Thanks.yeah the ramp's could do with a longer platform and was thinking on continuing up the last leg's to act as a barrier.I haven't tried them yet but i think i will get it sorted before..

The ramps need supports at the back corners. Mine are 2" angle and the top is longer with a raised section at the back for a stop but before you get to the stop there is a gap for the bottom of the tyre to drop into so you know you have arrived.

Looking good L.O.D, although are you not worried you are going to run out of sockets etc with all those models your making!! Would be annoying if you go to look for one and realise you have welded into the middle of that Super, Super Bike!!! lol.

Yeah it'll happened yet but i have a massive bin full of socket,nuts and bolt's..I share the small workshop with my girlfriend's father and he is steady giving out if an anything is metal i will weld it up...including his circular saw spanner on a chopper..
