I am putting together a compressor and will take a pic of the compressor today and post it later today,I bought it off ebay which was local pickup and aquired it some time ago for £14 which is not too bad.
Stripped it down to make sure all was well with piston/rings and bore and it was like new,on stripping it down I decided to give it a cleanup with my wet sandblaster leaving the bore and head nuetral and sprayed the body satin black, made it look modern and more appealing as opposed to the shi!!y green colour.
The compressor is in the link below and this is the nearest I could find to the model, the model in the link is 0.75U-9.5VS5A but mine is a slight difference on the four digits ie 0.75U-9.5CV don't know if that has any bearing on it? I don't think it might? as the 0.75 is the wattage of the motor and 9.5 being the bar max of 9.5.

I just have the compressor and no motor, that is I do have a brand new motor and is supposedly 1.5hp? but I am thinking it maybe around the 1hp size which will be adaquate to drive the compressor,it is a brushless motor(Induction type) pretty quiet and heavy with cap starter.
As stated will post pics of the items I have to knock the compressor up and would appreciate comments on some questions about putting it together ie how should I link two 25lt recievers together as I already have one reciever just waiting to aquire another or a 50lt jobby.
Intentions for it are not to spray large panels.
Thanks.
