A couple of questions about Mipa Super Black OC

Firstly has anyone used this specific paint, if so any handy hints and tips for this one?

Secondly, according to the data sheet https://www.mipa-paints.com/fileadmin/product/gb/pi/lm/BC2-Schicht-Basislack.pdf a 1.2-1.3 for the fluid tip, though I have heard for high solid direct gloss that a larger tip such as 1.4 should be employed?

1.3 should be fine I’ve sprayed mipa direct gloss with one.

I'm about to purchase one of these https://www.spraygunsdirect.co.uk/i...wn-as-devilbiss-gpi.html#sthash.X2eCTHPR.dpbs hence asking about the fluid tips. Thanks for the info and thankfully 1.3 is available, I'll purchase a 1.8 for the Lechler as well

Well, I figured a thread specific to a product and it's usage would probably get a faster response. I'm keen to buy the gun and ancillaries today.

I haven’t kept up with current models but that looks very similar to the gti pro or pro lite

I'm gonna give em' call as there's several of these GPG guns now, I was all set to buy the GPi but it's been deleted.

Also with respect to a strainer what for this paint after mixing what micron should I be looking at? There's various microns available ranging from 125 to 250, I'm unsure what's required?

It should be, and also suitable for epoxy primer. I can’t remember which size I have.

For my painting I bought a fastmover lvlp with a 1.4 tip.Worked well for epoxy primer, 2k primer, base and high solids clear, and less than £50.
