So as some of you may have read first time welding welded the only tip I had so have been waiting for some spares to be delivered,
So I got my spares and got an hour in the garage, I quickly converted my clarke to accept m6 tips and push on shrouds then laid a couple of welds
View media item 9281
So my first two welds where poop, found out the wire speed was too high
View media item 9282
The next two welds where a lot better as I halves the wire speed
Next I tried to weld two pieces together
View media item 9280
I then took a hammer to it took 20ish big blows and didn't brake happy happy happy
Well please rip them apart the more I can learn the better I'll get some welding in on the weekend and get some more practical, has trouble finding scrap, but the local metal stockist is doing a 7m length of the 2mm box section I want to weld for a 5er for that money I'll just use that to practice
Looking forward to all your comments
Cheers
