A couple of new human figures

Been playing about with rings again.
There was a lot of interest in the first of these so I have made a coupld for an exhibition.
I make them using a shop mannequin as a former.

I like the idea of these figures representing the 'suits' we put on fulfill the roles we adopt as we go about our daily business, that we then take off and discard when we get home, whether grown up work suit, party suit, parent suit etc.
Their names are Chain male and Chaingirl, thanks to Stuvy for the names.

They are really smart such a simple idea that looks so effective, though it must be a bit of a faff to make all the rings and get them sitting properly,well done can see that taking off for you.

They look awesome!! I really like the shape of chaingirl I can imagine someone wearing it. I love the hangers too very smart! Have you figured out what you're going to do with them ?

Dickie bell, not as fiddly as they look, laying the rings out takes ages, I do them two or three at a time symetrically. making the rings I use a home made tool that makes them in bulk, have a look in the homemade tools section of the forum.
Dare I ask about the name change.

What to do with them?
Plan As sell them. I have an exhibition in the spring that they might be popular at.

i really like the smooth shape of the hangers too, maybe make one or two smaller ones for coat hooks too?

A good thought Mr Stuvy, over sized hangers for coats when I am doing exhibitions.
In fact I have a spare one that I cocked up. Will do that tomorrow as a sample.
If I make a crap one it can hang about as a memory aid or I will just forget about it.
Making the hangers was a massive pain.

hey chunko , i think they would sell well, they definitely catch the eye especially the chaingirl must be the curves or summit , as for the name change dickie has been my nickname since i was a wean, dick is short for richard for those that don't know, just decided to tie it all together with the website and whatnot.
