I have a another thread on here regarding cutting valve seats.
What I am enquiring now is how to cut a 90 degree recess around the edge of an existing hole.
This would be similar to cutting a recess in a valve seat to fit a hardened valve seat?
The reason for wanting to do this is to be able to make a guide cut when raising the chamber on a cylinder head.
I need something that I can fit in a pillar drill and I would check / control the depth using a DTI gauge and depth stop?
Apart from buying a Mira or Serdi valve cuttter is there such a tool that would fit in a pillar drill?
Pic to give an idea.
