90en problems

hi there i bought a clarke 90en the other day off ebay, seemed fine at the guys house when i got him to try it, got it home connected it all up to have a play, started welding and when i stopped the wire carried on comeing off so turned it off and on again and it did the same, off and on again, started to weld and seemed ok, but when the gun is on an angle the wire started comeing out without touching the trigger, seems that if you turn the gun to the side it starts feeding wire out and i dont know why, anyone any ideas?
also when the wire feed is set to 0 should any wire come out? hope someone can help, really disappointing

Sounds like a short in the wires to the gun. You'll have to take it apart and look.

My Clarke did feed when the knob was at 0, but real slow. Some may not.

ive not took the gun apart, ive had the side off to upgrade the earth, what area is it i would need to look at? cheers

Check the wires in the gun where they connect to the trigger:

ahh cheers mate, i was worried about pulling the tourch apart because i thought it would be a little more complex but looks pretty simple
