70mm OD x 5mm(ish) wall thickness tube.

I'm after a piece of heavy wall tube - 70mm ±0.5 mm, 6mm ± 2mm circular hollow section.
I need at least 1000mm, but 2000mm would be better - and I'd even take a full 6m length if neccessary.

Its to increase the height of my meddings pacera drill press, so 2mm thick erw wont work! (Although sliding two or three smaller tubes inside and welding together might work?).

Any ideas where i i could source a piece? Budget around £20-30 a meter.

Does it absolutely have to be tube? For a drill press column, hydraulic ram rod is very good as it comes pre-ground to the diameter you want. Available in both imperial and metric.
