7016/7018 rods for ac buzz box

Is there such a deep penetrating rod ie the 7016/ 7018 that would be OK on a standard ac buzz box anyone used them? thank you

Filarc 56s run nice enough on a.c, check the packet of electrodes and it will tell you if suitable to run a.c, if it does t specify a.c then don't bother.

Most buzz boxes are 50 ocv, generally most 7018 rods like 80+ocv or a dc arc which might be -ve or +be depending on the rod manufacturer.

7016/8 is usually a no on low voltage AC. Buzzboxes tend to be used for 6013 and nothing much else.
6011 might work, but you'd really want to try them before buying a pack - assuming they'd be of any use of course, they're nothing like 7018's.
