.6l Argon Co2 Gas Bottle

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can tell me how long this bottle should last?

I know it will depoend on the settings,i just had the gas trickling as i was indoors,blasted thing only lasted about 5 mins welding time!

First one i have used so unsure what to expect,It was £13.80 so not impressed.

Welcome to the wonderful world of disposables!
You'll get no more than 10 mins welding time from one which makes them a very expensive option if you have a fair bit of work to do.

Look in the shielding gas section there is a BIG list of gas suppliers but you may need to upgrade your system namley adding a regulator and correct pipe. Some of us use pub gas cylinders of CO2. See if you have a celler supplies place local to you. Price up a reg 1st though (ebay, Welequip at top of page ect)

Hi Mike and welcome. I'm afraid that's about all you can expect from a disposable, the extra capacity 110 litre ones last a bit longer but not much. I always found I had to run the little regulator flat out to get enough gas though to get a half decent weld too.
I have recently taken up the volkszone offer for a Y size argoshield light bottle through BOC, this offer is still current, I can recommend it heartily, as I can also recommend Weldequip at the top of the page. No bull honest advice and quality gear.

Have the Volkszone offer for my argosheild, my arcon is hobby weld, disposeables are ubber dear!
