50L Argon Cylinder Bottle Trolley Recommendations

Hi Everyone,

I had a bookmark saved for a decently priced trolley that was capable of handling a large 50L Argon cylinder (for moving and storage). Can’t find it now so was hoping to get a steer from the Collective please?

Budget up to £120ish, pneumatic tyres for uneven ground (shed to shed etc), usual chain safety etc. Weight capacity around 95kg (large bottle gross weight).

I got a Sealey single bottle trolley in red - which I don't use - which I would sell you for dirt cheap money. Swindon is a bit far for a collection thou.

I made a Nitrogen bottle trolley, mainly from offcuts, the wheels, handle grips and 1m of 5mm unequal box section cost me about £32

I’d make one, but my welder is in storage, and I have not one jot of spare time with one tiddler and one new arrival. (I know, I know).

I see on trash day someone was tossing out qty (2) golf bag carts.
They look ideal for what you want, and they fold up nicely.

How about modifying a sack barrow....they usually come with blow up tyres....some even have triple wheels for stairs too.

Yep - it’s on a sack barrow at the moment. I think I’ll get another and use a combination of the two when I want to move it around. It’s a pain as I don’t have any spare lifting capacity here, but will have a look on Marketplace for an stop-gap.
