50amp torch options

can anyone recommend a decent 50a capable torch, hf start, Chinese suppliers only...

I've tried a pt-31 and sg-51 so far, not happy with either so I'm looking at trafimet clones, s45 etc.

Does the s45 handle 50a okay?

Where are you looking at prices? Cheap plasma torches are a false economy in my experience.

Found a cb50 clone head only (I have a cable already on the sg-51) for £49 shipped, that will probably do the job nicely.

Not actually talked to a human to see if they would do a better deal than the online price? And people call me lazy...

Try Tech Arc, they have a Trafimet agency, they fit hundreds of torches to their machines so buying power is good, talk to Richard and I'm sure you'll get the best deal you're likely to achieve, and there is a good chance they can supply it ready to go straight on with no messing with adaptors etc.

If they can beat what I can get from aliexpress then they are welcome the the business, but I doubt very much they'll come close.

As for messing with adapters, it's 3/8bsp and a 2 pole plug??? It aint rocket surgery.

but it does stated current 20 - 45amps.

do post where you get the 50amp from please.

as IF i can get my cut50 back working.
i would like to change the current torch. to a trafimet clone.
