I used the 4T function for the first time today ,well my finger was getting tired

there was no down slope tho ,is this normal or have i missed out on a setting when i changed from 2T?
The welder is an IFL 200HF by the way ....

When your on 4t you normaly press it and keep hold to get the slope down but it does depend on the set. Iv used sets where when you change to 4t there is no slope

The second time you press the button you should hold it down for the IFL unit to slope down and then maintain the crater current. Finally letting go of the button will stop the power.

Thanks no idea ,thats answered my question .ill give it a try tomorrow .
