4130 Tube Stockist?

As some of you may know I have been making bike frames. The tubes I got the first time around came from Holland, 95euro Delivery!
So I'm looking for a place in the UK to get the tubes from. Trouble is everyone that has replied to my e-mails so far can only offer tubes in imperial sizes.
I'v contacted Elmdon Metals too, and they are super-expensive motorsport prices!
I'm looking for 30 and 35mm o/d and 1.5ish wall thickness, Any of you guys know a good stockist able to help me out?

Pretty much every time i've worked with it it's been imperial with the exception of a couple of sizes. I'm guessing the closest you've been able to get is 1.25 (31.75) and 1.375 (34.9) in 16 and /or 14 swg? If you post a list of the other places you've tried it'll save everyone posting sources you've already exhausted. Have you tried http://www.proformancemetals.co.uk/? What about bicycle specific stuff from the likes of Ceeway, they (used to at least) have a huge inventory of older/basic (read heavier wall rather than super light) tubes kicking around.

I was just wondering this.
The imperialist system is long outdated. They are tubes, as long as you can get the right size mitres cut they will still be tubes; is the diameter the problem for the mitres?
But if we went metric millions of years ago why are tubes and plates still made in imperialist measures?. It does crack me up buying sheet metal in mm and feet at the same time.

It depends on what you are using it for. I use Imperial because all my bender dies are imperial.

Where as Burf is making push-irons so it shouldn't matter. or maybe it does, only he knows that answer

I'm not sure it matters. The design spec says 30 mm, closest i can get is 28.6 ish
