33.7 CDS Tube Bending (Scotland or as near)

Does anyone know a place that can bend some 33.7 x3 CDS at R80? Finally got time to myself and gettig nowhere today

The roll cage builders i had counted on all dont have a bender small enough most deal with 2inch and 1.5 inch also R80 apparently is small radius for a car Cage.

Also Tried Many an Engineer/Fab shop n they dont seem bothered there back end lol!

That sounds like 1" schedule 40 pipe, and the bend radii is typically 1.5 or 3 x the diameter (centre line radius), so 80mm (if its CLR) is a bit odd. A cheap hydraulic 3 point bender from machine mart should get you close enough for a roll cage, IIRC they are 3D formers.

Yeh that seems to be the case so came to the conclusion as its a bit of a tight radii, and settled with a guy who will get it as near as with the same end results as required. might just not look as tidy

First place i tried buddy as ive seen his work and there a good business, be much better if there were more auto Fab places like that up here lol!
