I'm looking to buy some stainless sheet that is thin enough to easily form around a pipe, and thick enough to be strong enough to hold a bit of stress. For an el cheapo exhaust repair that will involve two bar pipes, well supported, and two wide clamps and as many as needed conventional exhaust clamps, and sufficient hi temp silicon gasket maker, for a quick, cheap, and hopefully lasts a couple years exhaust repair.
1.2mm to thick? 0.7mm too thin? Seem to be common sizes on offer. Any advice approached.
