Wonder whether or not 3003 sheet would be suitable for motorcycle fuel tanks? Have been forming them out of 1050A, but something a bit harder, which is easier to polish would be more better.
3003 is more commonly what the Septics get. Over here it's usually 3103 which is effectively the same thing (Mn content is very slightly different). Perfect for automotive tank stuff, virtually as easy to form as 1050 but a bit stronger and still work hardens fairly slowly compared to the 5xxx series*. While it's a bit harder than 1050 it's still fairly easy to burn/smear when polishing it
* 5005 is apparently popular down under as 3xxx series aren't commonly available and it work hardens more slowly than the more common 5xxx flavours
