It has 4x4mm squared on the cable and its pretty hefty stuff. The 3 phase socket will be going yes as just need a 16amp 240 in that spot. the fuse in the box is 32 amp i think.
u will have to drop the fuse size to 16 amp just use 1 of the phases for the live and use the neutral that's already there disconnect the second and 3d phase wire bend back and tape up either end . one can be used as the earth sleeved green and yellow depending on what arrangements that are already there

good point. it will be looped of the same phase as other 2 cut out and disconnected
Something i have never given a through to in an industrial situation as there is 3 phase every where. Normal practice to balance single phase outlets around this way.
However in a commercial situation (shops, gym or office) yes it is best avoided as these spaces are often service by domestic sparks(5 Day wonder part P). have seen warnings on light switches warning voltages above 400v may be present.
Another option for the Op may be a small metal clad board screwed to the wall with relevant rcbo fitted with the 13a and 16a sockets fed from a short cable with the 32A 3 phase plug on then you still have the option of 3 phase from the socket in the future if required.
