Some time back I bought a 3-phase Boxford pillar drill for use at my place in France which is (rather surprisingly) equipped with 3-phase power. Apparently the former owner was thinking of sticking a lift in the place, instead of stairs. Thankfully he sold it before actually going ahead with his plan.
At some point I'm going to get it converted back to single phase, but for the moment it's still 3 phase, about which I know next to nothing. OK, then - nothing...
Would I need a 4 or 5 pin 3-phase plug and socket for my pillar drill? And how do I wire the thing up?
