I suspect it would be easier to use a converter
Then a vfd. You'll. Need to check if the motor will run in star 220v mode as oppose to delta 440v mode. Most vfd are 220v
If you want to swap the motor 5h3 switch gear will need changing and you'll need to get a motor that has the same shaft and mounting and would be powerful enough too.

Never used one, they have a motor for the rotation but. Do they have any air cylinders for breaking the seal? If so you might have to modify the power supply to the solenoid, if it is electronic control. But shouldn't be a problem.
