2pack over cellulose ?

hi all I'm new on the site but have 20 odd years of welding experience as a mechanic/bodywork man but alas things are always changing so every day is a school day !
my question can I put a 2k clearcoat over a cellulose base coat , some say yes others are less sure
the factor i got the paint from says ittll be ok but at 65 quid a litre i dont want a reaction or and a lot of work putting it right

no problem just make sure no silicone about that causes fish eyes
