I've a small job to do in exchange for a set of Goodridge brake hoses and EBC Green rear pads for my E34 535.
It involves making some brackets for an MG-F boot rack so the owner doesn't have to put holes in a perfectly good bootlid, even though they've already purchased a spare from the breakers yard.. I know, the mentality of some people is unreal, personally I'd drill one bootlid and when the time comes, swap them over.
Anyway, I fear 3mm will be too heavy to bend at home without hydraulic assistance. But I can't find 40x2mm flat bar online currently, Stainless or Mild I'm not too fussed as the finished article is going for powdercoat.
Is 2mm available, or does anyone want some beer tokens for 4 pieces of 2mm sheet at 40mm width, 250mm length?
