Globe made of 30x5mm strip. Boundaries a mix of 20x5 and 15x5mm strip.
Americas, Africa and Mediterranean done. Now working round Europe.
Note this more a cartoon than a literal map

Aka doing a Frank Spencer!

That happened us in the men's shed.
We built a large hexagonal gazebo and it was made to size to fit out the door.
Then we got a mate in to fit the roof. He does this for a living and made a really beautiful job of it.

When he was finished we started to lift the roller shutter door to move it outside. The look on the roofers face was priceless when he realised the door was wider than the doorway!

I can still see him mouthing the words holy foot while his jaw hit the floor!

Yes, the roof overhang made it too wide to fit out the door! We did get it out but it involved removal of some roofing sheets and trimming of roof battens and a lot of swearing.
