Once it has been activated you have four days to use the can, four days does seem like a long time especially as the drying times quoted are just a little longer than normal 2K Epoxy.

1. Exposure to air would appear to make the reaction faster so I would expect it would be liable to harden on the surface but remain soft under the surface with heavy applications.

from end of listing. Having said that it is not difficult to buy 2K either mail order or from a paint factor. The only warning I have had was 'is it for a classic car or commercial' when I say yes that's the end of the questions, nothing about air fed masks, disposal of solvents or anything to do with safe working.

Interesting. See ive been doing bodywork for a number of years and have become rather set in my ways, only using materials that i know work, thererfore i have become sceptical about such products, justified by saying you cant really tell if such a product works untill 6 months after you have covered it up with high build, expensive basecoat and clear. Having said that, for those who dont have the luxury of spray facillities, does longevity and finish really matter with the greatest respect. If it works, it works.

ive used 2k acid etch primer ,when mixed it lasted in a sealed bottle a few days ive mixed 2k topcoat and left in a sealed jar and it went like rubber after a few hours
